Secretary Report to Membership
We are looking forward to all getting together in France for our participatory event. It is such a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow paddlers and see our friends from around the world!
Important Notice: The France organizing committee has changed the time of the Managers' meeting to 9:00 am so it will now be before Congress. Congress registration will start at 10:00 am and the meeting will start at 10:30 am.
There are two positions up for election, Vice President and Secretary. Those nomination submissions are due June 28, 2026. Please send to secretary@ibcpc.com.
The overall job descriptions are on the IBCPC website under the Governance tab. However, if you would like more detailed information, you can always get in touch with me. I would be happy to answer your questions! Please reach out to your members to see if they might consider putting their names forward for these positions.
Each crew registered for France with IBCPC can send two representatives to Congress. There is one vote allowed per crew. Please remember if your team is not attending, but you have a team member on a composite crew: they can represent your team at Congress and vote.

Information and the deadline for submitting proxies will be sent at the beginning of August.
The first circulation of proposed Bylaw amendments will be sent before the end of June. We are planning to have an open forum meeting to answer any questions you may have and will advise you of the date.
