With great pride, we would like to announce that our Rosas del Plata team has added the first blind paddler in the country, Mrs. Roxana Ianello.
Roxana joined the team in September 2024 and since then, she has been actively involved in our paddling activities, also taking part in festivals and talks about the importance of awareness and early detection of breast cancer.
This achievement demonstrates our commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and reflects our vision to create an environment where all women, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, can participate and benefit from the Dragon Boat experience.
The addition of our blind paddler is a concrete example of our commitment to diversity and inclusion and we hope it will serve as an inspiration for other organizations and teams as well.
At Rosas del Plata, we believe that sport and physical activity should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to create an environment that is safe, inclusive, and fun for all women who join our team.
We thank the IBCPC for their support and collaboration with our mission to promote awareness of breast cancer screenings and the importance of early detection. We are proud to be part of this global community and to contribute to the IBCPC's mission.
