Pan American Dragon Boat Federation (PADBF) hosts the Pan American Club Crew Championships (PACCC)

The PADBF PACCC are open to member countries of the PADBF, these countries are: USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago.

In addition to these countries the organizers will extend a special membership to IBCPC member country teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia. We would like to remind teams that this is not a participatory event, but rather a competitive competition and the usual requirements that teams are very competent, BCS from front to back (including helm/steer) and will have participated in their own countries national championships. In discussion with PADBF there will be waivers to the countries national entry criteria for BCS, as many countries may not have had a paddling season due to COVID-19.

This is a note from the PADBF: The organisers were uncertain whether to go ahead with this championship but at their Zoom meeting of the 27th May they decided that the planning for PACCC 2021, March 2021 will continue however they will be adding to the attached Bulletin#1, that because there is so much uncertainty with the Covid 19 Pandemic, PACCC 2021 will only take place if the authorities allow and most of all, it is safe for Paddlers to participate. A decision will be taken at the end of October 2020 having at that time reviewed the pandemic situation as to whether to proceed, postpone or cancel the Championships.

Paddlers are to be cautioned that they should not make any financial commitments which are non refundable, if the situation forces the PADBF to cancel PACCC March 2021.
