Pink Warriors Panama Participation 6th Dragon Boat Race, Chinese New Year 2022
We were very happy to have had the opportunity to participate again in a Festival organized by the Chinese Community in Panama. On this occasion the 6th Dragon Boat Race, commemorating the Chinese New Year, on February 12 and 13, 2022, in the Amador Causeway area in Panama City.
Our participation was always under the established biosafety standards and the vaccination schedule required by the organizers, to remain in a safer environment.
We competed in 2,000, 1,000 and 500 meters in the women's category and we won 3rd place in each race.
And in 200 meters in BCS category, the winners were Pink Warriors Stars.
We feel very proud of the achievement obtained, remembering that we are an inspiration for many women, and we show that the dragon boat discipline is an option that allows us to dream, exercise and continue living in a way that we can feel that there is life after cancer.
The next festival to be held in Panama is confirmed for June 11 and 12, 2022 where distances of 2,000, 1,000, 500 and 200 meters will be run in BCS category.
