With the cancellation of the Linked in Pinks (LIPs) trip to Niagara Falls for the Welland Ontario Hope Floats event in August their next LIPs adventure is the Miami Dragon Boat Festival to be held on November 20, 2021, at 3501 Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne, Florida, USA.
As with each LIPs event it will be not only be a day of racing, but with the collaboration of LIP sisters, Coach Kim and President Victoria of the host team Save Our Sisters, they will expand the fun to Thursday and Friday November. 18 and 19th. Miami is too amazing of a destination to fly into and not have 3 days of water fun with other BCS paddlers!
Although not finalised the adventures could include things like a minicamp, duck boat tour, perhaps an alligator air boat ride, and of course, some South Beach night life.
It is going to be lots of fun to finally have all these paddlers back on the water. There is a rider and that is that every entrant to a LIPs crew must be fully COVID vaccinated to participate, and must follow the criteria of their home state or country when travelling too and from Miami.
