Dragonheart Vermont (USA) is hosting a FREE worldwide BCS dragon boat celebration.

Dragonheart Vermont (DHVT) is a dynamic dragon boat organization located in Burlington VT. We started as one breast cancer team in 2005 and have grown to over 200 members with BCS and supporters paddling for fun and competition. Every year the BCS members host an annual event, "Sisters at Heart" and invite BCS teams from nearby for a weekend of joy, celebration and dragon boating. This year, with COVID-19, we canceled our live event but quickly pivoted to a virtual event, for which we are very excited, as we now have the opportunity to celebrate our sisterhood with every dragon boat breast cancer survivor from around the world!
Registration is free as our goal is to connect with every breast cancer dragon boat enthusiast! We will host virtual sessions and paddling videos and we are asking every participant (and their loved ones) to submit a video commentary (tribute, celebratory message), as well as participate in a worldwide (pre-recorded) flower ceremony, using videos submitted by all. We will also have a virtual race, in the spirit of teamwork and dragon boating! It's so incredibly exciting for our little organization to have the potential of "meeting" and celebrating with paddlers around the world.
