What an incredible journey it has been over the past 25 years since breast cancer dragon boating began in Vancouver, Canada in 1996. Dr Don McKenzie’s belief that breast cancer survivors SHOULD participate in vigorous upper body exercise threw conventional medical thinking on its ear and look where we are now.
