Caribbean Cup Dragon Boat Races - Freeport, Grand Bahama, May 5, 2012
Dragon Boat East is inviting Breast Cancer Survivor teams worldwide to come to Freeport,
Grand Bahama Island, during the week of April 30, 2012 for an exciting new
event - the Caribbean Dragon Boat Cup.

Teams are invited to arrive early in the week and take advantage of the
boats for training sessions. Dragon Boat East will provide mentor
coaching and video analysis services to those interested. Out of town
teams can use the boats during training sessions free of charge on a first
come first serve sign up basis (there are 6 Buk boats available).
Partial teams and individuals are also most welcome.
May 17 & 18, 2012: Sea of Galilee, Israel
The first Dragon Boat Israel Dragon Boat Festival will
include a Breast Cancer Survivor Challenge Race. This is
a Canada-Israel initiative. www.dragonboatisrael.com

May 24 – 27, 2012: Venice Canoe & Dragon
Boat Festival & Vogalonga
This will be the first Venice Canoe and Dragon boat
festival. The first twenty boats to register will be on the
Grand Canal for the Opening Ceremonies. The 33 kilometre
paddle of the Vogalonga is on Sunday, May 27.
